Fixing sockets are the most economical sockets and are commonly used in precast fixing applications. These sockets are manufactured from steel precision tubes. And some of them require additional reinforcement bars, and the reinforcement bar has to be inserted through the cross-drilled hole to transfer the static load to the concrete. But some fixing sockets with cross pins or bended ends can be used independently of the reinforcement bar.

The fixing socket is recommended for fixing only, where technical approval is usually not required.
